Had our final cup of coffee at Calpe, said goodbye to Maria behind the bar and got on the road to Villajoyosa. Maureen had already had kisses and hugs from Olga the owner ( Maria’s mum). We are going to miss the camp sites and the people but are planning on booking into luxury.
Imperivm, a Caravan and Camping recommended site.
Send Maureen into reception because she can sweet talk them if there’s a deal to be done. No deal but luxury camping at just on budget.
Pool and restaurant/cafe
Pitch is looking ok next to a GB number plate, at least someone to ask that we understand if we need anything.
Water to every pitch.
Electrics and cable tv. We had to borrow the tv cable from reception (€20 deposit). This was one of the many items I needed according to Robin and
Dave if we were to be considered seasoned travellers.
Problems getting cable into van though, never mind I’ll sort it manana, we are in Spain!
What a joy being able to watch England with an English comentary. Fair play to Ireland.
Went out for a meal tonight we feel that we didn’t pay enough because we had starters, a large paella between us, bottle of wine and two coffees, €28. We told them we thought that they hadn’t charged us for the bottle of wine and they said it was included. Great value.
Lazy Sunday to look forward to. Magic.
You can tour the chocolate factory at Villajoyosa- check times tho as not always English speaking xx
